Thought I’d make a post so anyone who wants can make a comment with any licensing predictions for Otakon.

Honestly, I don’t quite have many guesses this year myself, the industry has been a bit to jumpy.

But here is what I know for now.

Bandai is announcing… something.  I don’t know what, but they are most certainly announcing something, they have a countdown for it on their site.

In recent interviews Gen Fukunaga has suggested there MIGHT be a big announcement coming from Funimation at Otakon, no doubt they will announce something, but hopefully this ‘big’ thing will be announced.

ADV…ADV…ADV how I miss you.  It’s been suggested ADV will announce new stuff at Otakon if the ink on the contracts is dry.

And we know SOMEONE (likely Media Blasters) will announce Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs for DVD releases (previously it only got a 2 disk best of).
