This guy named Bob (Robert Pelloni) has been spending five years making an RPG for the Nintendo DS.  Instead of battles you have conversations.  He made all the graphics, story, and other assets himself.

The game stars a character named Yuu and the video window above shows a quick video of the demo running on a real DS. Bob is currently trying to find a distributor for the game.

I really hope I get to play this game someday.
