The one thing that was mentioned at the Funimation panel of interest is the Dragonball GT Season 1 set will be 5 disks.  Since the set is 32 episodes and the solicitation info at quite a few stores said 3 disks people started to get a bit worried about video compression.  5 disks should be fine for 32 episodes though, let’s just hope that like the trailer shows, lets hope these episodes aren’t cropped like DBZ was.

Well there goes my Otakon guess that Media Blasters would announce the show.

At the moment Gurren Lagann is being released in a relatively barebones sub only format. Starting near the end of the year it will start getting a slightly different release with lots of extras and a dub directed by fanboy favorite Tony Oliver. Bandai’s official blog put up a preview of the box that will come with Volume 1 of the more deluxe version of the series. Continue reading →

The DVD art for Bender’s Game has finally been released.  Really good coverart for a D&D style adventure.

This is also the first Futurama release that will be on Blu-ray, but no artwork for that version yet.
